Cookie Policy

Last updated: 13 May 2026

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored by the browser on your device when you visit a website. They allow the browser to be recognised across pages and sessions, remember preferences and measure site usage. This policy also covers equivalent technologies such as localStorage, sessionStorage and pixels.

2. Legal basis

Strictly necessary cookies are placed on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the site operational and secure. Analytics and marketing cookies are only activated after your freely given, informed, specific and revocable consent, in accordance with:

  • GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679), Art. 6(1)(a) and Art. 7.
  • ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC) and TTDSG (Germany), § 25.
  • LGPD (Brazilian Law 13.709/2018), Art. 7 (I and IX), and Art. 8.

When you consent to analytics or marketing cookies, technical data may be transferred to Google servers in other countries. Such transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and supplementary technical measures (IP anonymisation, encryption in transit).

5. Your rights

At any time you may:

  • Grant or withdraw consent (button below or in the site footer);
  • Request confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymisation, portability or deletion of your data;
  • Lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority — for instance, the BfDI or the competent Landesdatenschutzbehörde in Germany, or the ANPD in Brazil.

6. Manage preferences

Use the button below to re-open the consent panel and change your choices. You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies — note that this may affect how parts of the site work.
